Presage Sharp Edged Series is a collection that combines Seiko's mechanical haute horlogerie with a new perspective on the culture of Japan. SPB307J1 incorporates the automatic multifunction caliber 6R21 with power reserve indicator, day and date. Like all existing watches in this series, the dial features the Asanoha, or hemp leaf pattern, which has been used on Japanese fabrics since the Heian period over a thousand years ago, and is in a traditional Japanese color Kurotobi, the color of the bird, black kite.
