Seiko Presage adds this new model to Sharp Edged: the series that combines traditional mechanical watchmaking with distinctively modern Japanese styling.
This Limited Edition watch of 2,000 units features a design that evokes akebono, a Japanese term that expresses the moment when the darkness of night gives way to dawn.
Symbolizing the beginning of the new day, the dial features a brilliant center framed by a darkened perimeter, achieving stunning degradation and a rich, brilliant polished finish.
The rose gold hands represent the morning sun, while the black case and bracelet recall the last moments of the night.
Unlike previous Sharp Edged models, the indices adopt a trapezoidal shape inspired by rays of light, while the seconds hand is tapered to a point.
Thanks to the transparent case back, you can see the workings of the GMT automatic mechanical movement of caliber 6R64.
