In fact, it never went away, but the Oris Rectangular returns to the fore with new proportions, a new dial design and lively dial and leather strap options to suit each season. The Rectangular's classic, sleek, unisex shape is defined by its four-sided stainless steel case and integrated straps. Note the protrusions at the ends of the case, which enhance its appearance, and the taper at the tips of the lugs, which provide a calm and natural hold on the wrist. The dials are presented in white, blue, anthracite and burgundy with a design heavily influenced by the Art Deco style. The rails run along both the outer edge of the dial and an inner rectangle that reflects and complements the silhouette of the case. Numerals at 12, 9 and 3 play on symmetry and asymmetry, while sword-shaped hands and a date window at 6 complete the arrangement. Each model is equipped with a quick-change leather strap in yellow, blue, anthracite or burgundy. Inside is the Oris Caliber 561, a Swiss-made automatic date and time mechanism, visible through the mineral crystal caseback. The Oris Rectangular: proof that a watch doesn't have to be round to find the right angle.
