The Frederique Constant watch brand is one of the youngest watch manufacturers. It was founded less than 40 years ago, in 1988 as a family business where Aletta Bax and Peter C. Stas had invested their free time and passion in watch design.

Since then, the current Swiss watch manufacturer Frederique Constant has worked with the aim of democratizing watchmaking, that is, watchmaking lovers could buy them at an exquisite quality price.

In 1992, and after hard work, they presented their first collection of Swiss watches made up of six models, manufactured by a Geneva watchmaker.

The Frederique Constant watch brand since the brand was born a rapid rise, inspired by the freshness and innovation of its young owners. Thus, for the first 15 years the company grew 25-50% annually, and in a market so densely populated with a variety of vendors competing locally and globally like almost no other.

Frederique Constant defines itself as a young and passionate watch factory based in Geneva, where they produce watches for dynamic people and their mission is to make luxury Swiss watches accessible to the customer at reasonable prices.

From the beginning Frederique Constant wanted to produce classic Swiss watches at competitive prices.

Aletta and Peter were in their 30s, newlyweds, and with virtually no assets. However, we were very interested in beautiful, high-quality Swiss watches. Therefore, we were our own target consumer.

It is important to know that Frédérique Constant is still the same concept and pursues the same position. We believe in the original concept and the business model.

In 1999, Frederique Constant launched the first models in its Highlife collection. With a unique design, they were characterized by their integrated strap. Since 2020, the "maison" has brought the collection back to the fore with several new models equipped with this practical feature and a timeless modern design that is much better suited to today's tastes and customs.

DESIGN

The watches in the Frederique Constant Highlife collection have a 41mm case, available in a variety of materials. The absence of horns allows for greater flexibility and helps the watch sit naturally on the wrist.

The integrated design is infinitely more complicated to develop than any horned leash. The process requires perfect continuity between the lines of the case and the links, a smooth, regular and gradual transition to the closure and a natural fluidity that must be practically imperceptible.

INTERCHANGEABILITY

The integrated system allows you to change the strap in a moment, without the need for tools or accessories, thanks to the integration of two pushers at the end of the bracelet.

THE SYMBOL OF THE EARTH, A SIGNIFICANT AND UNIFIING DECORATION

All the models in the Highlife collection have a dial decorated with the same motif: the globe. Symbol of the Earth, harmony, the perfection of the circle, it is also the emblem of a new generation that shares an ideal to save the planet: a sustainable and responsible lifestyle.
